Manchester City – title contenders?


Manchester City continued their flawless start to the season as they brushed aside an organised Everton side on Sunday. Goals from Samir Nasri and Aleksandar Kolarov made it three wins from three for Manuel Pellegrini’s side and secured the clubs first run of 9 top-flight wins in a row since 1912. Despite being written off by many towards the start of the season, eight goals in three games with zero conceded suggests City are out to prove their doubters wrong, and have laid down a serious marker for other potential title challengers.

Despite finishing second last season, The Citizens experienced mixed form during last years campaign.
