Scientists have created a HEALTHIER peanut that they claim even tastes better!
Researchers at the USDA and Oklahoma State have engineered a new type of peanut that’s healthier, easier to grow, and allegedly tastes better. It has more oleic acid, which is also in olive oil. And it’s perfect for making peanut butter, because it’s derived from Spanish style peanuts, which are what most companies currently use.
