The past two Premier League champions Manchester City and Chelsea face each other at the Eithad in their second match of the season.
The defending champion Chelsea drew their opening match 2-2 at home against Swansea City, while City started their campaign with a 3-0 win at West Brom on Monday.
Swansea’s Jefferson Montero dominated Chelsea’s right-back Branislav Ivanovic, something City manager Manuel Pellegrini will work on. New signing Raheem Sterling has all it takes to put Ivanovic under pressure down the left flank, and Mourinho might change his 4-2-3-1 formation to double up against Sterling.
An option would be putting Brazilian Ramires as the right midfielder to help Ivanovic. It will form a midfield line with Ramires, Nemanja Matic and Cesc Fabregas in a 4-3-2-1.
