Premier League Preview – Crystal Palace v Arsenal

After last week’s horror show to begin the new season Arsenal will be looking to bounce back after defeat to West Ham however they face a difficult trip to Selhurst Park to face Alan Pardew’s Crystal Palace side who began the season with a win at Norwich.

Positional discipline

Last season we saw one of the performances of the season from Arsenal at Manchester City and one of the key aspects of the match was positional discipline. They kept the 4-1-4-1 shape and counter attacked well. Now I know they were at home against West Ham but it felt like a ‘if we turn up then we will win’ type of game and it wasn’t.
